Weddings
Looking for something a bit different? When you book a wedding here, you get more than just a pretty place to hold a ceremony. Instead, you and your loved ones get a whole weekend of eating, drinking, laughing, singing, and soaking it all in.
Q: What’s the place like? A: The farm contains over 170 acres of remarkable scenery, with canal access to the Wolf River. Guests will use several buildings around the main homestead, including three cabins and the farmhouse. A fourth “honeymooners” cabin is located on a small island, roughly 15 minutes away by canoe. The property features numerous animals, yard games, fire pits, hiking trails, and much more.
Q: How much does it cost? A: Non-holiday prices for 2 nights:
< 21 guests: $2000
21-40 guests: $2400
41-60 guests: $2800
61-80 guests: $3200
81-100 guests: $3600
Q: How does check-in and check-out work? A: Check in is at 3 pm, usually on a Friday. Most people stay with a small group the first night, then have the ceremony and party the next day/night. Checkout is at noon the following day (usually Sunday).
Q: How many people can sleep there? A: Between all five units, we can provide comfortable arrangements for roughly 16 people. Anyone above that is welcome to stay overnight, however they must bring their own sleeping arrangements (e.g. a tent or RV), pillows, towels, etc.
Q: How many bathrooms? A: The main homestead includes 3 indoor bathrooms and 2 outdoor shower/toilet units (i.e. 5 full bathrooms total).
Q: Is there parking on the premises? A: Yes, there is parking for up to 40 vehicles.
Q: Are there Mosquitoes? Bugs? Mud? Dust? Spiders? Snakes? Poo, and Rust? A: Yes, all of those things — we offer an authentic farm experience. That being said, we take every measure possible to provide a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for all.
